TIME WASTER #1:
Blog reading, prezzie competition entering!
Just a reminder, Rainbow Reviews is having it's author extravaganza this month, and giving away prezzies left and right. Plus some pretty interesting interviews with a whole bunch of great gay fiction authors. Check them out!

TIME WASTER #2:
Pygmy goats.
I don't have them yet. But I really. Really. REALLY. Want two pygmy goats.

I mean, seriously. How can I NOT have them already? They hit you with their tiny lil heads and will eat your blackberries! Damn, I need to write more books... soon I'll be supporting more than just myself, my geriatric dogs, and a sadistic pony. Pygmy Goat Future Now!

The fine ladies over at the Desert Island Keepers site have me trapped with a menacing robot who is forcing me to reveal things I don't feel comfortable revealing! Evil, evil robots!
Come join me, Nicole Kimberling, and Ginn Hale this week as we guest blog on DIK! We'll be sharing excerpts, prizes, and the unrevealing interview responses only a mechanoid can generate.

The Glowing Lights of Chanukah will soon be here and there are gifts waiting for you!
Beginning Wednesday, December 17th join ten authors who have gathered romance stories with Jewish heroes and heroines from all walks of life: From the days of the Maccabees to Regency England, from modern day America to parallel worlds; from sweet to spicy hot.
Tell us the names of their heroes and heroines and send them to borntowrite@writeme.com to be entered in a drawing of Gifts for the Season. The winner will be drawn December 22nd, the first day of Chanukah!
There will be excerpts from all the stories on author blogs - see the list below. Just visit the blogs, write down the heroes and heroines' names, and send them to the email address above! Free prezzies! What's not to like about that?
Start the celebration with authors:
Wednesday the 17th:
Keira Andrews, author of "Daybreak"
Astrid Amara, ME! Hahaha! Whose novel Holiday Outing will be released next Tuesday! Check back tomorrow for an excerpt and tips for entering this contest! Extra superfluous exclamation point boo-ya!
Cheryl Dragon, author of "Bad Brad"
Thursday, the 18th:
Melissa Glisan, author of "Festival of Lights"
Jeanne Barrack, author of "The Game"
EM Ben Shaul, author of "Voices of Joy and Gladness, from the Groom and the Groom"
Samantha Kane, author of "The Courage to Love"
Eva Gordon, author of "The Stone of the Tenth Realm"
Sunday, the 21st:
KZ Snow, author of "Plagued" and "Obsessed"
and
James Buchanan, author of the series "Taking the Odds"
Hope you'll join us! I'll be posting my excerpt and more information about the promotion tomorrow.

The Sweet Flag blog has me as their guest blogger today, so please come on over and comment on world-building in speculative fiction, or fantasy/sci-fi fiction in general, or about the economy, or whatever tickles your fancy (I almost wrote 'tickles your fanny').
If you don't come over I'll feel like that kid who gets invited to a party and then everyone else stays away because the kid has cooties and then everyone whispers "LOSER!" behind the kid's Hell Cop sandwich board.
Here's the location - hope to see you! http://thesweetflagmenlove.blogspot.com
